The Lodge Celebrates with a Summer Ball at Mayflower Place
The East Hertfordshire Lodge celebrated its 100th birthday in style with a summer ball at its home, Mayflower Place, in Hertingfordbury. Over 100 members, family and friends came together to enjoy good company, delicious food and entertainment provided by The Chandeliers and The Goldbacks.
The evening culminated with the presentation of a donation of £1,915 to the Hertfordshire Society for the Blind; a local charity who were also fortunate enough to celebrating their centenary this year. The donation was graciously accepted on behalf of the Society by Ron Pickford, who thanked the Brethren for their generosity and wished them a happy 100th birthday!
